An EGR code needs checking in context
The exhaust gas recirculation system works alongside other engine and emissions components. An EGR-related code does not, on its own, prove that replacing the valve will solve the problem. Motor-Pro assesses the symptoms and findings before recommending work.

Can EGR cleaning fix every EGR problem?
No. Cleaning may be inappropriate where a component has failed or another fault is responsible. Repair or replacement options should follow the assessment. Any additional work is discussed and quoted before it goes ahead.
